Synergy with CommBank

Bankwest was sold to Commbank in late 2008 but still operates compeltely independently. I think this is absolutely fantastic, however the only crossover benefit I've been able to see is to be freely able to use both bank's ATMs. I would love to see more cross-over synergy, such as faster transactions between the two banks. Is there anything in the works?

It's safe to say you're not the only one that loves the free use of over 4,000 Bankwest and CommBank ATM's @SamsonKein Smiley Happy

You can expect to see faster transfers in the not-to-distant future too which is really exciting!

Great to hear (and also thanks for realising I meant transfers instead of transactions).

Would you be able to describe or even list other particular synergy specific features that are in the works?

@SamsonKein Great post. I would also like to see other forms of synergies such as using CommBank overseas branches at the same reduced fees like using ASB in New Zealand.

Also @PeteW linking Colonial FirstState and CommBank Group Super to BOB would be most welcomed.
