Bankwest seems to be slow but faster payments have released for the enmasses today. Currently the system works like ANZ and you can only make faster payments via Online Banking (app is slowly rolling out).
How to make faster payments?
Click the Faster Payments option.
Select your eligible account (transaction account) and the new recipient button (if it is your first time paying).
Choose the PayID type (note that BSB and account is currently unavailable on online banking and only available via the app) and enter the PayID then click Look up PayID.
At this point, you can see whether the PayID you want send money to is correct or incorrect, if it is proceed to Yes It Is.
At this point, you can choose whether to save your recipient and choose the amount of money you want to send. Pretty straight forward from here. Proceed to pay someone.
Then once you have agreed to pay someone, proceed to press the orange Yes, submit payment. There will be a payment hold of 4 hours for first time payments in most cases. Confirm your payment as well and your payment will be submitted (with the hold of 4 hours for first time payments).
