Monthly Everyday Account Fees

Hi,

I have three everyday accounts which incur the monthly fee unless $2,000 is deposited each month.

Now my salary goes into one of them so that satisfies the requirement for 1 account.

My question is, if I go to a Bankwest branch, make a $2,000 withdrawal in cash, then deposit it into one of the other accounts, will that satisfy the $2,000 deposit requirement?

Thanks for your help

Hi @icebreaka, yes you can do this. As long as the account recieves at least $2000 into per month, the fee wouldn't be charged.

Why do you have three transaction accounts @icebreaka?

I'm just curious on whether you gain a benefit from doing this that you may want to share with us.

Hi, I also have 2 accounts which require the minimum $2,000. If i had my salary paid into one account and i were to online internal bank transfer this amount into my other account will both these accounts then be eligible to avoid the fees?

Hi @mal, I've looked into this with our team and as long as the $2,000 passes through the account this will be fine.
