ID required for new student account

My 12 year old daughter wants to open a student bank account.  What ID does she need to bring?  As its holidays we don't have access to her school for letters from the teacher or principal.

There's different ID requirements @Sophiec, dependent on whether your daughter is a new or existing customer.

Given your daughter is 12, it doesn't look like she will need to provide anything specific from her school. Her age in itself means she's eligible for a Student Account.

If she's a new customer, a passport would be the easiest.

All applicants under 15 must apply in store too, which you seem to already be doing. Smiley Happy

I wish I could apply for a Student Account - the discounts look awesome!

Hi @Sophiec, thanks for your question Smiley Happy @cgm is correct, if your daughter has a passport this would be the best form of ID to bring in to open her account, and as she is under 17 years old she won't require a letter from the school. Thanks!
