How to I add my partner to my transaction account?

I have an existing transaciton account and want to add my partner to it so she can manage it, as well. She's identified herself to the bank. In the internet bank, where do I request her to be added to the account, please? Is it done through messaging (as I could not find a function in the service to do this)?

Hey there @Mr_MR, this previous Forum post will explain the process for you - it's not something that can be done via Online Banking or with our Contact Centre I'm sorry.

So, are you really saying I need a physical visit in your branch to do this? Wow, that's so 90's retro... Smiley Embarassed

What are my options if I can't access a branch due to it's short opening hours and/or location?

I'm sorry I don't have a different answer for you @Mr_MR.

If you're looking to open a new account in joint names (and don't already have a joint Bankwest account) or add a Signatory to an existing account, you'll need to visit a branch.

You will be able to locate your closest here, as well as view the operating hours.
