Thanks for your question @Rob_74. Bankwest processes all payment files as soon as we receive them so it depends on when the other financial institution (OFI) sends it to us. It's generally best to allow 1-3 business days for payments between banks.

Here's how our payment cut-off times work for when you're sending money to an OFI.

Hope this helps.

Someone has paid us money into our bankwest account on Monday 7. Nov  and his bank says itnshpuld clear for us to take the money in 1-3 business days.

on my account it says clearing date next tuesday 15. Nov. surely this cant be right.

it was a person who got an approved loan and went into hiss bank and transferred the money to us.

why would it take from last Monday 7th till next Tuesday 15th to clear.

Hi @Carol, it generally depends on how funds have been transferred as to when they will received into your account. Do you know what type of transfer the sender made, and is it coming from Australia?
