Hi,

Can you confirm that I am able to deposit a HM Paymaster Cheque payable to me, into my account in the same name, and pay $5.00 to have it cleared immediately. I thought they had to be sent off and pay a special answer fee or or wait 30 days. Please clarify, thanks

Hi @GiftGal , a Foreign Cheque will need to be deposited in branch, as there is a document you will need to sign, a fee to be paid and ID is required to be sighted. It can take up to 31 days for this to clear - there generally isn't a way to escalate this I'm sorry.
