Dishonor fee

Posted by Theo Theo

I just got a message that "A payment has overdrawn your account and a $10 honour/dishonour fee will be charged. To allow the payment to be processed, deposit funds by 12:45 WST today."

Seriously, does bankwest allow customers to transfer money before charging ridiculous fees??

Hi @Theo I'm sorry you've been charged a dishonour fee and can appreciate this is quite frustrating.

These fees are charged when an account is taken outside of the terms and conditions. We advise our customers to credit funds to cover the overdraw so the transaction doesn't decline.

While I'm unable to view your accounts via the Forum, please chat with our Online Messaging Team so we can look into this further for you.
