At Bankwest we certainly appreciate loyalty and while we don't have a loyalty program per se, our customers do benefit from special offers, competitions, giveaways and so on.

Are the special offers you refer to @PeteW, offers that are advertised publicly from time to time, or are they better deals on rates and annual fees available to certain existing customers?

It's really a combination of the two. Competitions will generally be advertised publicly for example, however a special rate on a credit card for existing customers only will be offered individually.

How do customers access the special rates @PeteW?  Who wouldn't want a lower rate on their credit card purchases! Smiley Very Happy

We actively offer special deals to our loyal customers based on a variety of (internal) factors. I'm not able to share the exact criteria with you.

I justed check now that the new rewards points have come in to effect.

My gosh, they have really gone up in price. I am a bit upset as I moved to Bankwest from ANZ as I got 2 points per $ with comparible rewards, now that the rewards have increaded between 20-25%, the Bankwest card is not the deal it once was.

And ANZ offer ApplePay...

Right now, when my card comes up for renewal, I will move back to ANZ.

Take this as constructive feedback, I have about 9 months left... convince me!
