Counter Fee due to broken ATM

I have found that I have been charged a $4 COUNTER FEE, because I had to go into the branch to withdraw cash due to a failed ATM at the branch.

I don't believe I should be penalised due to the failure of the branch in providing a standard cash withdrawl facility.

At the time, the counter staff apologized for the inconvenience and I was given the expectation this fee wouldn't be charged.

What can I do to reverse this charge?

Hi @eytng thanks for bringing this to our attention. Via the Forum I won't be able to view your accounts to look into this, however you can login to Online Banking and select the "Chat Now" button at the bottom of your screen between 7am – 6pm AWST Monday – Friday to discuss this with a consultant. Alternatively, you can call our Contact Centre on 13 17 19 between 8am - 8pm your local time, 7 days a week. If you could also please let me know which store you visited, so I can make sure our ATMs team have had the machine looked into. Thank you.
