Hi Bob, thanks for reaching out.

We will still have a number of branches available, you can locate your next closest here. Alternatively, you may be able to have a Cheque Book facility added to your existing transactional account - dependant on what type of account you hold.

If these are not viable options, please send your best contact number to Forum@bankwest.com.au and we'll get in touch to discuss this further.

Thank you.

I draw large sums of money using bank cheque to transfer funds across banks because the manual paperwork that has  to be sent to Perth from Eastland Branch is unreliable costly and slow.

personal cheque don’t help and yes I already have a cheque book.

so where is the closest branch to Eastland as your closest branch shortcut does not locate any facilities?

thanks Bob

Hi Bob, I've checked and our branch at The Glen is the closest to Eastland, at L-042, The Glen Shopping Centre, 235 Springvale Road.

I just want to clarify - you've mentioned that you use Bank Cheques to transfer large sums between banks - the only limit on a Personal Cheque is that of the available balance in the remitting account, and there is no cost to use these.

Hope this helps.
