Bank cheque to foreign currency

I have a 3 tiered question:

1) Is there a top limit on a bank cheque?

2) How much does it cost to get a bank cheque?

3) What are the costs associated with transferring a bank cheque into foreign currency, and is it difficult to do on the other end?

Thank you,

Hi @emmaw, there is no limit to the amount you can have a bank cheque issued at, other than the balance in your account. There is a $10 fee to purchase a bank cheque, however they are issued in Australian dollars, so you would need to check with the bank they are being deposited at as to what their foreign exchange policies are.
