Hi

I want to organise a bank transfer of over 100K for a house settlement. Nowhere can I find a way to do this. Please direct me to the appropriate form I need to complete in order for this transfer to occur on the due date.

Thanks

Hi @MelG, thanks for getting in touch.

If you need more than $20K sent in one transaction (which is the Online Banking Daily Transfer Limit), you can request that we process a Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) for you. There is a fee of $35 for this, as well as a possible $10 inward payment order fee on the receiving account. If you are able to make it to your closest branch to have this actioned prior to 11.15am AWST, the funds should be credited into the recipient's account by close of business the same day.

If you are unable to visit a branch, you can still complete the RTGS form. It does state International Transfer Form, though the required details are the same - just disregard the SWIFT Code and Exchange Rate details. The completed form can be sent to IMT.Retail@bankwest.com.au, or faxed to 1300 130 885 for action within 2 - 3 business days. Please note the request can only be submitted via this option, if you are currently overseas, or over 50km away from a branch.

Alternatively, if you can attend your closest Bankwest branch, you can obtain a Bank Cheque, for a fee of $10.00. A Bank Cheque will debit the funds from your account immediately, and once deposited into the recipients account can take 3 - 5 business days to clear.

I hope this helps.
