If you get a bank cheque to pay for something, can it later be re-deposited into your own account if there is an issue?

Hi @Jacqui, thanks for your enquiry.

Whilst the funds are able to be deposited back into your account, you would need to complete an indemnity form, as well as pay a fee for Bankwest to repurchase the cheque from you. For further information on any cost associated with this, you can click here.

Thank you.
