It's not an option at the moment @philly78 however there have been a few enquiries from our customers about this so we're looking at ways of making it easier for our customers to access more money when they're in need.

In the meantime though, the $1,000 daily limit applies ot each card on the account, not the account itself. So if you have two cards for the one account, you can withdraw $1,000 per card, per day. I hope this helps at least a little.

*The ATM daily withdrawal limit has now been increased to $2000 per eligible Bankwest card.

@philly78 We have some exciting changes!

The daily ATM withdrawal limit for Bankwest cards has increased to $2,000 at Bankwest and Commonwealth Bank ATMs (excluding those located at 7-Eleven Stores). Standard limits between $1,000 and $1,500 apply at all other domestic and international ATMs depending on your product  or card type.

The daily withdrawal limit:

will apply to each card on an account. For example, if you hold a joint account, each card holder could withdraw the daily limit;

for credit cards, it is combined withdrawals across the primary and additional cardswill be standard across all Bankwest cards and cannot be changed; andmay also increase your liability in the event of an unauthorised transactions on your account. So remember to report any suspicious transactions on your account as soon as you notice them and let us know if your card is lost or stolen.

Check back as further ATMs may be added that allow for the $2,000 upper limit.
