Unlinking Accounts

Hi guys,

 

I am wanting to reduce my access to my credit card to avoid that tempation to impulse buy. I have a credit card and an Everyday Tranaction account, and I can transfer money back and forward between both. Is there a way to change this so that I can only transfer onto the credit card, and not be able to transfer back into the everyday account as a cash advance? 

 

That way I can only take my credit card out for emergencies and not for the everything else!

Hi @Sarah147, whilst you aren't able to place a stop on transferring funds from the card, you could look at having your credit card removed from online banking, so that you're unable to transfer from it. You could then make payments into it via PayAnybody. To look into this and discuss your options, it would be best to give us a call on 13 17 19, or send us a message via our secure messaging service. You can access messaging by logging into online banking using a computer and selecting "Message us now".
