Refund to credit card

Hi Paypal have refunded money to my Credit card which has been cancelled /closed 

the refund occured 3 days ago & Paypay have advised to contact the card issuer.

Hi @rich1023, great question.

Depending on when your Credit Card was closed, the funds should be returned to PayPal within 10 business days (dependant on their processing times). In rare cases, the refund may still go through to the closed card, but, if you have a new Credit Card with us, it may automatically transfer to your new card number. PayPal might be able to process a refund to a different card number, which would ensure you receive the funds back in a much more timely manner Smiley Happy

If the refund to the closed card is successful and does not bounce back to PayPal, or transfer to a new card number (if you have one), you can call our Contact Centre on 13 17 19 to discuss having these funds transferred to you. Via the Forum we won't be able to view your card to see if there has been a credit, however our Contact Centre will be able to confirm this for you Smiley Happy Hope this helps!
