I have accessed my credit file every year and found that Bankwest makes a periodic review enquiry every 3 months on my credit file.
I am not a borrower but just an additional cardholder.
As far as I know, I havent given consent for this to happen.
Could you please explain?

Hi @Juls, I can definitely appreciate your concerns here.
Whilst we wouldn't generally conduct re-occurring credit checks (particularly for an Additional Card Holder), this may be notification of an internal data update. This doesn't impact your file negatively, and it's only you who will be able to see this.
Though, if you have indeed received notice that an actual enquiry has been made on your credit file by Bankwest, please do send through the details, as well as your full name and best contact number to Forum@bankwest.com.au, so that we can give you a call and look into this further.
