I remitted $1000 to CBA on 15 April.

Fund are not received as of 16 April in the CBA account.

Fund remitted from the Police Bank on the 16April has been received with CBA.

Why does it take BKW twice as long to release the payment to CBA ?

Hi @LindaT, thanks for your enquiry.

A transfer of funds from one bank to another will usually take up to 3 business days. If the funds were sent on 15th April, this means that today (16/04) would be the first processing day. For further details on Bank to Bank payments, please click here.

If the funds do not arrive to your account by close of business this coming Wednesday (18/04) then you can request that Bankwest process a recall, so that the amount can be re-sent. To do this, you'd need to speak with our Contact Centre by calling 13 17 19, or by logging into your Online Banking and selecting the "Message us Now" tab. Both services are available 24/7 for your convenience.

Thank you.
