Dear Bankwest, I recently returned from a trip to Broome where I now see that the resort I stayed at charged a "credit card surcharge" of over 19% - they did this on the initial booking deposit (which I didn't realise at the time) & then again on the balance of the bill (again I did not see this until I returned home, as we departed the resort very early to catch our flight). I think this is hugely excessive - especially when my Bankwest card is a debit card. Does Bankwest have anything in writing that I can produce to the Resort, in an attempt to recover these hefty "surcharges"? They did not forewarn me at any stage that I would be charged these fees for using my Bankwest debit card. Thank you. Kind regards, Sharon

Hi @shutchison, thanks for your enquiry. If you believe that these charges are not legitimate or were not outlined, you may wish to consider Disputing the Transaction. Whilst we can't guarantee the outcome of this, we can certainly investigate on your behalf. Hope this helps ^Danae
