Lost and stolen cards

If your card or PIN has been lost or stolen within Australia, call us any time on 13 17 19.

If you’re overseas call +61 8 9449 2840 instead.

The same applies if you suspect that unauthorised transactions have been made using your card.

 

We'll talk you through what to do next, which will likely include putting a hold on your card so that other people can’t access your money, and ordering a new card and PIN for you.

 

If you need to get money out of your account before your new card and PIN arrive, you can visit your local Bankwest store or access your account via the Bankwest app, BOB (Online Banking), and phone banking.

 

If you lose your credit card whilst travelling overseas, you can call the numbers below to arrange an emergency replacement card and, if required, access an emergency cash advance.

Is Bankwest in a position to provide estimated delivery times for replacement cards to the tabled locations below?

The replacement credit cards are provided by MasterCard @cgm so they, along with their delivery/shipping partner are responsible for those timings and obviously the remoteness of the delivery location would be a factor. Speaking with them will help give an idea of how long it may take for the credit card to be delivered.

Can you walk into any bank showing Mastercard logo and report it

Hi @Henny, to report a lost card you would need to speak directly with Bankwest, so either by going into a Bankwest store or calling us on 13 17 19 (within Australia) or +61 8 9449 2840 (overseas).
