Does every MasterCard account have an automatic daily withdrawal limit or can I set my own daily limit as I can with other banks? And if i can change it, can you please tell me how to do it.

Hey @Nicos, while $1000 is the daily purchase limit using the "Cheque" and "Savings" options, selecting "Credit" at an EFTPOS terminal will give you access to all of the available funds in your account.

This means that you will be able to process purchases over $1000 in one transaction, provided that the funds are cleared and available in your account, and that the merchant does not have a set purchase limit.

It may interest you to know that as a Bankwest customer, you can withdraw up to $2000 per day from any Bankwest or CBA ATM. The $1000 withdrawal limit from all others will stand - these amounts are unable to be increased I'm sorry.

I do hope this helps.
