Card replacement speed potentially the worst I have ever experienced

I reported my cards lost on Monday and was surprised to be advised that depite the card issuer being notified immediatly the delivery was to be expected in 10 days (business)

This seems to be pre historic when I can get goods from USA / Eirpoe in less time..

Also really bad news when I have no other accounts and my direct payments (OPAL, Insurance etc) are being declined, and despite creating a new card number for my credit card the Bank cannot tell me the PIN before the card is activated so I cannot do any online credit card until the card actually arrives.......

I am aware of much faster delivery times from other players.....

Come on Bank west we are in an "online" age surely there must be an intelligent way I can acces my funds with out resorting last century methods...?

Hi @Rrowa, I'm sorry to see you feel this way.

Once a Credit Card is ordered, you should receive this within 10 business days - dependant on the postal service in your area. Please keep in mind that this time frame is a "worst case scenario". Whilst you are waiting for your card, you can head into a Bankwest branch and withdraw cash over the counter. I understand that this is not always convenient, though it is necessary if you require cash. It's also good to note that any online payments and transfers are also not affected.

If you'd like to confirm when this was posted and to which address, you can log in to Online Banking and select "Ask Us" via the Mobile App menu or "Message us Now" from a PC, where our Online Team would be happy to take a look. Alternatively if you can't access Online Banking, you can give us a buzz on 13 17 19 - both services are available 24/7 for your convenience.

Thank you.
