Additional Card holder getting their own Credit Card Account

I'm the primary card holder on our MasterCard and my husband is the secondary card holder.

If we wanted for him to have his own MasterCard (separate account) - is that  possible if he's a secondary card holder on my master card account (I understand it comes down to the application process, but is being a secondary card holder generally a problem).

Hey @cricklyon, thanks for getting in touch.

While the Primary Card Holder is responsible for the spend/debt, I wouldn't be able to advise if this would be taken into consideration for a new application I'm sorry. You'd be best to speak with a Sales Consultant for clarification, as they're trained on the in's & out's - even if you don't wish to proceed with the application.

They're available by calling 13 17 19 between 6am - 6pm AWST Monday to Friday, and 8am - 3pm AWST on Saturday's.

Thank you.
