I am a Commbank Customer, and I used the bankwest ATM located at 7/11 Cnr of Pyrmont & Paramatta Road today (3rd February) at 2:18pm. I requested $20.00 Cashout, and it was processing my request, the machine took a few minutes, then my card came out after that the ATM displayed a message saying "THIS ATM IS CLOSED" in a green/bluish screen. Then the screen flickered and reverted back to the usual 7/11 & Bankwest advertising. No CASH came out, and i waited for a few minutes to double check. I raised the issue with the 7/11 Employee and he wasn't able to assist me. I then took out cash from the 7/11 counter. I checked my bank account straight away and i could see that the $20 i intially requested had come out of my commbank account. Please advise what I have to do to get my $20 back! I can provide any information that you require to expedite this!

Hi Bazil, I'm very sorry to hear that this has occurred, and I have advised our ATMs team of this error so it can be investigated.
I note that you have mentioned a Commbank account above - if this is the case then you will need to raise a dispute with CBA to request your funds be returned. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
