Depositing foreign currency cheques

I will be receiving a cheque from a US company (Amazon) every month which will be in USD.  I will need to deposit this into my account. I would just like to know what the limit is on depositing a cheque in USD so that it goes directly into my bank account right away at the time of depositing.

I know some cheques when they are deposited do not get processed straight away and need to be sent back to the US for processing which takes another few months. Is this because of the amount and if so what is the limit?

Thanks!

Hi @marinl, overseas cheques generally take 30 business days to clear, there is no limit on these as all overseas cheques needs to be processed the same way. Thanks
