Here’s the first instalment in a series of fortnightly updates I’ll be posting to the Forum every second Tuesday to let you know what’s been happening, what’s coming up and to highlight some of the tops posts and members in the last fortnight.
As always, I’d love to hear what you think about the Forum as well as these updates so we can keep building the Forum to be as much as possible what our customers want it to be.
Mobile is consistently one of the top three topics being discussed on the Forum. Whether it’s talking about fingerprint login (TouchID is coming soon to the Bankwest App), PIN Login or Easy Alerts, there’s some great feedback coming through and our mobile app team are taking it all on board. You should also be becoming more familiar with @JustinJ and @JonS from our mobile app team as they’re answering your questions and they hosted the Live Q&A back in December.
The Forum is now the go to place for the release notes for updates to the Bankwest App (example from v2.7.1) and online banking (example from v16.0). We make changes based on customer feedback and obviously always welcome more.
I gave a quick list of steps on how to activate a credit or debit card a little while back but it’s one of our highest viewed posts so thought I’d mention it again as our customers are clearly searching for the info. It’s easier to do than you might think, you don’t even need to call.
Given it’s school holidays time in WA it might be worth checking out our #TeamTravelTips if you’re lucky enough to be heading overseas for the break. There’s banking stuff in there and some general helpful tips from our colleagues too.

When you’re looking for answers, try the search box first before you ask a new question. Check out this post for more details on searching for answers and posting new questions.
Don’t be shy to hit that Kudos button to say thanks and remember to accept responses to your question as the answer by using the ‘Options’ menu in the top-right of each post. It helps people find the most useful stuff easily.

Bankwest Easy Alerts are currently supported on iOS 7 and Android 4.0 devices and above. Bankwest Easy Alerts are not available on Windows Phones and tablets.
